Whether it is your cultural beliefs, religious convictions, government restrictions, personal choice, or you need products for children and pets, we have a non-alcohol version of each of our products that is equally powerful and effective
Unlike flower essences none of our products are bottled in an alcohol or vinegar base. That’s because they’re not flower essences! Traditional flower essences are bottled in a carrier of alcohol or vinegar, which has a sharp unpleasant taste
Our products use just 5% alcohol as a natural preservative, not as a carrier. Sold as a concentrate, they must be diluted in water. So, there’s only 1.5 drops of alcohol per adult dose. That’s why our products have no discernible taste, no sharp bite. In Bach products made with alcohol, evidence supports that the brandy provides just as much of the mellowing effect as the remedy
Some countries such as USA regulate, ban, or charge duty on products containing alcohol. We did not want to limit access to our helpful products. So, we chose to innovate!
THE SOLUTION: We spent 2 years creating and testing an alcohol-free version of our products, trying different FDA-approved preservatives, and ironing out the 'kinks' so that the end product would meet our high standards and remain organic. We ultimately chose calcium ascorbate as our preservative, because of its alkalizing health benefits

THE GOOD: The alcohol version prompts release of a specific neuropeptide in the brain that helps lower defense mechanisms, which reduces resistance to change
Alcohol is strongly antiseptic. It has a long shelf life, particularly if you re-activate the frequencies by succussing the bottle before using. (Succuss=rap the bottom of the bottle sharply against the palm of your hand 3-4 times)
Our calcium-mineralized non-alcohol version is alkaline. It creates a more coherent electrical charge within your neural network. It is softer on your stomach. It is also a safer choice for children and pets—especially cats! And, it’s duty free!
THE BAD: Products containing alcohol can evaporate more quickly if left open
Non-alcohol products have a shorter shelf-life and are more easily contaminated if you touch the dropper against anything. Also, calcium ascorbate can fall out of solution, leaving a harmless white mineral film on the dropper and bottle
CARE of NON-ALCOHOL: Happily, we have found a way for you to to extend the shelf of our non-alcohol products!: After you crack open the tamper-proof seal and administer your 1st 1.5 ml dose, simply replace that dose by adding 1.5 ml of premium 40% vodka to top-up the bottle—about 2 droppers worth. That’s the amount of vodka contained in our regular formulas. It will provide both antiseptic qualities and the longer shelf life you desire
Then simply take the usual care recommended for our products: Keep them at room temperature, away from electronics and light. And, since calcium ascorbate can fall out of solution, be sure to succuss the bottle if it has been sitting unused for more than 1-2 weeks
